Samoa

Samoa, formerly called Western Samoa, is an independent state of Polynesia, consists of two islands western (and larger) Islands Samoa: Savai'i and Upolu. His nearest neighbor is the American Samoa in the east, and the rest are south Tonga, Tuvalu in the northwest, Wallis and Futuna Tokelau to the west and north. The capital is Apia.

Samoa achieved its independence from New Zealand in 1962 (between 1918 and 1945 the island was German territory, but it was administered by New Zealand, the second decree of the League of Nations but with the end of the Second World War, became a New Zealand territory .
